Job Description Summary
This role will be responsible advanced software development for critical Engineering tools used within GE Aerospace, including coaching and mentoring members of the software team. This role will involve working independently and contributing to the immediate team and to other teams across the business. This role will also lead design discussions, and drive team efficiency through agile/scrum and DevOps methodologies. This role is focused on the Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) domain, which makes use of Deltek Open Plan and Cobra, among other tools.

Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
• Lead and coordinate the domain technical and business discussions relative to future architecture direction across the product portfolio or product line.
• Analyze design and develop a roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.
• Review and/or analyze and develop architectural requirements at domain level within product portfolio or team.
• Participate in the enterprise architecture domain governance model.
• Contribute to the development of software and data delivery platforms with reusable components that can be orchestrated together into different methods.
• Lead the research and evaluation of emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support actives.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with significant experience.

Experience with Deltek Open Plan and/or Cobra. 2+ years of experience using the COTS tool API's. Experience with Microsoft Project. Understanding of cybersecurity, Aerospace (DO-178), CMMC, and/or Export Control regulations. Advanced Jenkins automation or other CI/CD experience. 3+ years of scrum/agile experience. Advanced JAVA and/or Python development experience. Expert level communication skills.
