Clearwater is a provider of engineering, circuit card assembly, OEM Avionics, and MRO services to commercial and military customers. Role Overview:

The Sr Manufacturing Manager - Plant Management will oversee and manage all aspects of the manufacturing operations within the Clearwater facility. This role is responsible for ensuring that production processes are efficient, cost-effective, and meet the highest standards of safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing operations, leadership, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Safety: Ensure all manufacturing operations comply with safety regulations and standards. Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement in safety practices.
  • Quality: Maintain high standards of product quality by implementing and monitoring quality control processes. Address and resolve any quality issues promptly.
  • Delivery: Oversee production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products. Coordinate with other departments to meet delivery targets.
  • Cost: Manage budgets and control costs to achieve financial objectives. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising safety or quality.
  • Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing professionals. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Utilize lean manufacturing principles and other continuous improvement methodologies to enhance operational efficiency. Drive initiatives to improve processes, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, including key metrics related to SQDC.
  • Strategic Influence: Influence the development of strategy for resources and policy.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 9 years of experience in manufacturing operations)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading people in a manufacturing and/or production environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working within a P&L matrix.
  • Servant leader who has demonstrated their ability to drive transformational change, including deployment of Lean fundamentals and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Proven track record of managing and improving manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
