Job Description Summary
As the Operations Leader for Chief Engineer Manufacturing, you will coordinate and align priorities of Controlled Title Holders and Technical Talent Pipeline to enhance their effectiveness, aligning them with the business outcomes and critical initiatives. This role will establish key processes to set, track and manage metrics that drives efficiency and enable the team's ability to meet objectives in a timely manner to maximize the impact to the business. The role is subject to operating policy objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for streamlining the operations and business processes for all manufacturing pyramids (Controlled Title Holders) with focus on strong operational cadence.
- Influence the development of metrics and KPIs, that ensures clear alignment of the priorities to the business outcomes.
- Working closely with the CTH Pyramid Leaders, support the CTHs in meeting their CTH expectations and pyramid priorities.
- Own the operating reviews (WOR, MOR) and strategy sessions for Manufacturing Pyramids and provide leadership updates on operational metrics.
- Lead Technology Roadmap sessions supporting various business operating rhythm on technology development and maturation.
- Support CTH engagement on critical priorities of the division and SQDC (such as zero-defect culture, lead time reduction, productivity) enabling alignment of key CTH resources.
- Establish strong connectivity with Aerospace Chief's Office, bringing alignment on initiatives and actions for Manufacturing pyramids.
- Champion and drive the adoption of FLIGHT DECK for CTH/Pyramids and the Pyramid Leaders, aligning with divisional priorities by fostering a culture of continuous improvement, respect for people, and servant leadership through activating, coaching, facilitating, and promoting.
- Build strong partnership with part families and manufacturing engineering organizations across the business to deploy outcomes and break constraints.
- Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes, or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.
- Coordinate process improvement activities incorporating lean principles and Flight Deck.
- Develop a strong communication strategy for CTH community, focused on engagement, information sharing and technical communities.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 10 years engineering or technical manufacturing experience) + minimum of 5 years engineering or technical manufacturing experience

- Lead functional projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.

- Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Prior experience and background in Lean.
