Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Innovative Inspections: Lead the development and implementation of cutting-edge inspection solutions for on-wing and assembled engine inspections using advanced technologies such as borescope, endoscope, eddy current phase array, and other NDT technologies.
- Process Optimization: Identify and resolve gaps in current prototype development processes, ensuring they align with GE Aerospace's core values of safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC).
- Standardization and Transition: Establish and standardize processes to smoothly transition designs from prototype to product, with a primary focus on inspection solutions.
- Collaborative Partnerships: Work closely with key third-party partners to enhance GE Aerospace's inspection capabilities, pushing the boundaries of what's possible.
- Continuous Improvement: Gather and analyze Critical to Quality (CTQ) metrics and Voice of the Customer (VOC) insights to drive continuous enhancement of inspection solutions.
- Vision and Strategy Alignment: Ensure better alignment on the vision, strategy, and implementation of inspection solutions, evaluating success by the number of solutions adopted by customers and end users.
- Pioneering Processes: Develop and standardize new processes for inspecting development test engines, pushing technology to its limits to meet evolving needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering operations

- Master's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
