Job Description Summary
The Services Technology Acceleration Center (STAC) is dedicated to advancing aerospace inspection technologies and repair processes and enhancing customer support capabilities for its Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facilities around the globe.
This role is the leader of the cost process and execution teams in the Services business. This person will be responsible for growing GE Aviation Services' operating margin by reducing cost and ensuring cost processes are standard.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the productivity and cost strategy team to engage across product lines, overhaul and repair shops, engineering and digital functions to affect cost and improve operating margin for the services business.
- Partner with PL MCRB, Repair Engineering & PSE to develop productivity pipeline, establish and approve business cases and execute prioritized industrialization across global MRO network.
- Interface with Customer Services Agreement Ops to ensure profitability of long term RPFH contracts and T&M
- Create and execute Overhaul, Repair, Used Serviceable Material, and Workscoping cost strategy
- Effectively demonstrates policy deployment at Division scale and successful black dot ownership of TTIs
- Achieve $/SV outcomes in services cost out through process standardization, better visibility to the cost drivers, clear targets, and building/executing the project pipeline with the cross functional team.
- Manage global NPI teams to achieve >1,000 industrialized repair projects per year.
- Utilize FLIGHT DECK tools and resources to clearly define current state versus desired future state. Understand gaps and develop action plan, articulate impact, and utilize daily management, standard work to achieve desired outcomes across productivity and cost strategy team.
- Work closely with the shop invoicing teams, ERP teams, and data customer teams in the product line and modeling improve the cost data quality by focusing on the source input and process flow.
- Utilize digital as a key enabler to inform and empower the teams to make decisions. Continuously improve the way work gets done across the product line, shop, and engineering teams through digital tool enhancements.
- Ability to manage globally diverse teams
- Communicates complex messages and negotiates mainly internally with others to adopt a different point of view. Influences across the matrix to affect change and shape the cost strategy for the services business.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and 5+ years of product cost / product pricing / product management experience (or a minimum high school diploma / GED with an additional 4+ years of product cost / product pricing / product management experience).
Desired Characteristics:
- Deep expertise in financial planning and accounting, long term contract management.
- People leadership experience, specifically of globally disparate teams.
- Demonstrated ability to execute continuous improvement in a transactional lean environment.
- Technical acumen to facilitate prioritization of engineering programs within a financial lens.
- Multi-year strategy deployment.
