Job Description Summary
Process engineer will be responsible for defining a wholistic cleanliness strategy for additive hardware and collaborating with stakeholders to coordinate implementation of that strategy at all Additive Integrated Product Team (AIPT) sites. This strategy will include research, development, industrialization, and automation of processes such as powder removal, liquid flushing, ultrasonic cleaning, etc.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Create new additive cleanliness specification and special process technology center
- Become a certifying agent in new additive part cleanliness process
- Audit internal and external sites for additive part cleanliness
- Lead RCCA and other problem solving efforts related to part cleanliness
- Research, develop, and industrialize powder removal and cleaning processes
- Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from inception through start up and certification
- Assess processes, take measurements, interpret data, and document results
- Effectively communicate project outcomes to senior leadership
- Lead projects intended to design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes
- Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve technology and processes related to additive post processing
- Act in a supporting role for all other post processing operations.
- Develop and audit process specific work instructions, SOPs, and PM plans
- Perform risk assessments and implement abatements
- Participate in and lead problem solving efforts

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience in hardware and/or manufacturing cleanliness
Desired Characteristics
- Master's degree from an accredited university or college
- CAD experience, particularly Unigraphics NX
- Experience with powder removal and cleaning processes
- Experience in additive manufacturing
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Established project management skills.
