The Senior Physical Security Manager (SPSM) will be an active member of the GE Aerospace (GEA) Global Security team. Reporting to the Senior Physical Security Director, the SPSM will assist in the development and implementation of security requirements, policies, standards, and physical security management systems. In this role, you will support the physical security team and manage various physical security fundamentals for GEA. This includes contributing to a comprehensive security program while ensuring compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements. Additionally, you will help reduce risk to the organization and ensure the safety and protection of employees, customers, visitors, and company assets.

Role Overview: As the Senior Physical Security Manager (SPSM), you will be an active member of the GE Aerospace (GEA) Global Security team, working on-site. Reporting to the Senior Physical Security Director, you will assist in the development and implementation of security requirements, policies, standards, and physical security management systems. Your role is crucial in ensuring the safety and protection of employees, customers, visitors, and company assets.
- Support the GEA physical security team to maintain high standards of physical security across multiple facilities worldwide.
- Assist in executing physical security projects, contract guard services, enterprise security systems, and badging operations.
- Help maintain and develop physical security standards, playbooks, and guidelines to ensure compliance with business-level policies, Department of Defense requirements, and the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC).
- Interact and maintain relationships with external partners such as security integrators and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with physical security and facility buildout specifications in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), Intelligence Community Directives (ICD), and Underwriters Lab (UL) 2050.
- Prepare reports to track and meet project objectives and budgets, escalate issues, and provide solutions to challenges.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent advanced degree.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in security-related roles.
- Experience in the construction and oversight of secured and classified spaces.
- Operational experience in security management, law enforcement, or military preferred.
- Familiarity with global/international security regulations and an understanding and acceptance of varying global perspectives, ideologies, and cultures.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in the English language.
- Strong interpersonal, judgment, and leadership skills with a demonstrated background in successfully leading complex programs/projects.
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple cultures and time zones.
- Occasional domestic and international travel may be required.
- Must hold an active US DoD Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Self-motivated, self-directed, flexible, and able to work under pressure and in fast-paced team environments.
- Strong understanding of security processes and nomenclature.
- High level of interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with an emphasis on collaboration and the ability to engage executive-level decision-makers.
- Proven project management skills (multi-faceted & complex projects) with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deliver results on time.
- ASIS Physical Security Professional (PSP) and/or Certified Protection Professional (CPP) Certification or similar certification is preferred.
- Cultural awareness & sensitivity: ability to flex style to suit differing cultural norms and experience of leading a culturally diverse team.
- Ability to operate successfully in autonomous environments.
