As a Senior Performance Engineer in Systems Architecture and Design, you will work with the Commercial Engine Project & Engineering teams to design, assess, and launch GE's next generation of products aimed at reducing emissions. This on-site role focuses on demonstrator programs, advancing state-of-the-art open fan and hybrid electric technologies from Preliminary Design to Performance.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead programs and projects to create propulsion solutions for next-generation aircraft.
- Build and execute aero-thermal models and trade studies for new concepts and derivative engines.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to assess technology capabilities and maturity.
- Execute analysis and evaluation of assigned projects, ensuring compliance with business standards and product requirements.
- Ensure proper documentation and timely communication of technical data and project status.
The Ideal Candidate: A strategic leader who thrives in dynamic environments, with a passion for propulsion and aero-thermodynamic disciplines and possesses strong problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited college or university.
- Over 7 years of experience in an aero-thermal and/or performance-based engineering position.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
- Experience with engine cycle modeling or component aero design.
- Proficiency in NPSS, Python, C++, or similar programming languages.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Experience working with global cross-functional teams.
- Ability to guide and influence others.
