Job Description Summary

As a Senior Finance Manager for the Rotorcraft Turboprop business within GE Aerospace, you will partner with the operations and project teams to drive execution, accountability, and financial commitments across the engines and development. Responsible for driving optimal performance and profitability, providing financial planning, analysis, and reporting for Rotorcraft Turboprop Engines P&L.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise for Rotorcraft P&L serving as a best practice/go-to Finance Leader.
  • Partner with supply chain, project & manufacturing support to drive engine delivery linearity and execution against budget. Drive accountability of output forecasts and own analyzing and communicating financial impacts, to include variance analysis, ensuring on time progress liquidations, future collections tracking, and recurring deliverables.
  • Proactively serve as a business partner with supply chain and cost team to understand AUC drivers and financial impact. Provide guidance to the operations teams on target setting, productivity implementation & business impact. Support the team to identify cost drivers to improve cost controls.
  • Identify key risks & opportunities to engine forecasts as well as risk & opportunity management strategies to top line growth for new programs - T408, T901. Drives updates to T901 & T408 living business cases with standard work across the project team.
  • Accurately and compliantly manage month end and quarter close deliverables as needed. Cross-collaborate with RTP team, Controllership and FP&A HQ.
  • Analyze and report key leading and lagging indicators of units revenue, margin, cash, and operating cost. Oversee execution of development and spares financials with their respective finance teams. Report findings for commentary as needed for RTP.
  • Skilled influencer, able to communicate complex messages to others. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Will lead small projects as required and present results as needed. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Develop persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field. Manage complex tasks or problems that impact the function - offer solutions to problems and provide.
  • Will define, create and maintain key decision support review tools, including financial dashboards, data populations, and detailed analytical excel-based reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to implement FLIGHT DECK business philosophy where applicable.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • 6+ years of relevant finance experience

  • Ideal candidate will be based in Lynn, MA, but open to Evandale, OH, remote or flexible work arrangement for a strong candidate.
