Job Description

The Senior Facilities Engineering Manager manages the Facilities Engineering Team, with comprehensive responsibilities in planning, executing, and overseeing investment and expense projects. This role involves addressing infrastructure deficiencies, ensuring project completion within budget and on time, and reducing site exposure to loss. The Senior Facilities Engineering Manager is a key participant in vendor selection for major projects and provides analytical and operational information to optimize site utilization. Additionally, the role includes strategic collaboration with the Global Facilities Team and managing energy and sustainability initiatives. The role has moderate autonomy, requiring high levels of operational judgment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee product quality in the manufacturing process, including quality assurance, control, and product inspection, impacting both individual and team performance.
  • Lead analytical and design activities, determine root causes, implement corrective actions, and participate in audits to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Manage the Facilities Engineering Team, ensuring effective planning and execution of investment projects within budget and on time, addressing infrastructure deficiencies and covering areas such as construction, mechanical, civil, and life safety.
  • Execute investment and expense projects to close out FM Global recommendations, reducing site exposure to loss, and participate in the review and selection of vendors for major investment projects.
  • Serve as the Focal Point for the Lynn site, providing analytical and operational information for studies and assessments, optimizing site utilization, and strategizing with the Global Facilities Team.
  • Manage energy and sustainability initiatives, collaborate with all levels of management to develop and implement initiatives, and maintain a working relationship with union officials based on mutual respect and integrity.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 5 years in Facilities Management, Supply Chain, Sourcing and/or Materials experience
