Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Expertly interpret blueprints, manuals, and Part 145 requirements, ensuring compliance with all processes and procedures.
- Utilize measuring tools and interpret schematics, blueprints, manuals, and specifications to build and inspect components with precision.
- Apply mechanical and electrical aptitude to inspect, order parts, assemble, test, and inspect components, demonstrating knowledge in electro-mechanical assembly, testing, and inspection.
- Work with harnesses, ignition leads, exciters, speed sensors, and PCCU as required, using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, Multi-Point Testers (MPT), Hi-Pot, and IR for analysis and testing.
- Accurately read and interpret dimensional measurements and technical information to evaluate labor and material requirements.
- Diagnose and repair electrical/mechanical assemblies, ensuring adherence to Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM) and service bulletins.
- Comprehend and fulfill customer purchase orders, meeting on-time delivery (OTD) and turnaround time (TAT) requirements.
- Identify discrepancies, create turn-backs, and ensure compliance with FAA, EASA, and CAAC regulatory requirements.
- Self-inspect work according to CMM standards and acquire braze certification as needed.
- Pass annual eye exams specific to the job title and cross-train within the department.
- Support manufacturing operations across departments and product lines, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in ERP, computer, Microsoft Office, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-directed, motivated, able to work in a team environment, willing to stand for extended periods, and capable of working with hazardous materials and cross-training.
- Actively participate in a teaming environment that uses lean and 5S practices to improve products and processes.
- Willing and able to frequently lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 25 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Subject to random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with DOT and FAA regulations.
- Willingness to work overtime as required.
Desired Characteristics:
- Knowledge of electro-mechanical assembly, test and inspection, electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, and proficiency with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, Multi-Point Testers (MPT), and Hi-Pot.
- Excellent attendance history, ability to produce error-free products, strives to meet or exceed job requirements, and possesses prior mechanical knowledge.
