Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Accountable for building a robust operating system around development of the standardization and improvement of the Quality Management System, building on best Industry Standards (A9100D), incorporating mandatory, voluntary and customer requirements in collaboration with Quality Leader
- Collaborate with Quality Leader in developing a set of metrics (KPI) in compliance with internal and external requirements and in collaboration with the EMS (Engineering Material Systems) Group and Quality Control Leaders
- Prepare and support Manager Representative with the Quality Management System Reviews with Senior Leadership level
- Ensure training and qualification of personnel including Certifying Staff and Auditors, and managing qualified personnel list in collaboration with Quality Leader
- Collaborate with all functions in driving interface risk management control for Customers and Suppliers
- Drafting and coordinating issuance of quality policies and procedures which requires working with other team members to complete necessary AS9100D documents
- Interpreting and implementing and additionally evaluating adequacy of Quality Assurance standards
- Play key role as an APQP focal to drive and improve the implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning per AS13100 and GE Aerospace requirements
- Includes direct people management responsibility including staffing and performance development
- Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy
- Partner with Process, Operations, and Training to sustain process improvement/development initiatives
- Lead internal audit program and conduct site internal audits

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 10 years of experience in quality manufacturing experience)
- Minimum of 5 years of quality/quality systems experience
