For this position, you will be having a great opportunity to work with the professionals in Quality Assurance and Quality Control field in GE Aerospace to gain knowledge and hands-on experience to build your foundation of Quality knowledge to become an Aviation professional.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

• Deliverables: Enhance standard work by establishment of equivalent unit, increase productivity by waste reduction, human error elimination by automating the grinding & polishing process in Metallurgical Lab. Implement standard work/template for SPC processes and provide training to end users, and explore standardized software for SPC control in shop.
• Plan/Design: Establish Statistical Process Control (SPC) in the shop to enhance process control, minimzie process variation, and improve process capability.
• Problem Solving: To apply Lean fundamentals to improve process flow and standard work, establish equivalent unit, identify waste reduction, develop automated process, etc. in Metallurgical Lab at Plant 23 to facilitate coming Oct Shingijutsu/Kaizen event.

• Degree in any discipline in Engineering is preferred
