The Quality Engineer for Alliance and Relentless Cell is involved with the product quality review associated with the manufacturing process. Requires mastery of a body of theoretical knowledge. Requires developed and strong foundation of function skills and knowledge of relevant technologies.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Owns both quality assurance and quality control; Includes quality assurance of products, services, manufacturing processes; Includes conformance in manufacturing, new product introduction, incoming goods control, product inspection, witness points, etc.
• Own the Problem-Solving Analysis for the main quality issues in the work cell.

• Develops new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizations.
• Works together with people from the business unit.
• Contacts are under guidance and/or geared towards specifying activities, planning of activities and giving explanations on technical issues.
• Develops new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizations.
• Works together with business leadership at SPB and EB level.
• Specifies needs, communicates about project approach and presents outcomes of research done.
• Delivers products as part of a team.

• Presents to internal and external teams on metrics, project status, and research.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)
• Experience in Production Quality, Inspection, Braze Process or Milling Machine is a plus.
This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, nationals of the United States, asylees and refugees) due to access to export-controlled technology.
Must pass background and drug screens.

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
