Job Description Summary

Develop, initiate, try storm, and maintain quality systems, procedures, guidelines, and processes to ensure fulfillment of internal and external requirements. Ensures that projects and products are compliantly meeting engineering and quality standards. Demonstrate working knowledge of industry's quality system, advanced product quality planning, statistical process control, measurement metrology, auditing, event investigation, leading corrective action, and preventative countermeasures. The candidate should be able to work and communicate cross-functionally and carry out the commitment of quality compliance to the facility's diverse environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Works to develop, implement, and monitor overall process mapping for quality improvement purposes. Standardization of processes, tools and performance management system
  • Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a discipline and analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy. Basic knowledge of related job disciplines
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues and Quality Organization
  • Extracts, compile, examine, & evaluate data to formulate into meaningful analytics to aid decision making of the leaders, colleagues, and organization
  • Explains information, developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues
  • Problem solves quality issues through problem definition, measure the frequency and severity, analyze the data yielding from process/field/simulation, improve the situation with effective countermeasures, and control the processes going forward
  • Uses judgment and has the ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/ GED with at least 4 years of experience in manufacturing, shop manufacturing, or quality)
