Job Description Summary

The Quality Assurance Verifier is responsible for auditing and reporting Documentation and Process audits to ensure compliance with AS9100, AS13100 standards, Customer requirements, Nadcap and GE Aerospace policies.
The role involves identifying non-conformities, recommending corrective actions, and supporting process improvements to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the QMS. The auditor will also provide training and guidance to teams to strengthen compliance and continuous improvement efforts.
The selected candidate could also receive assignments to support other QMS related processes.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Perform production routing and inspection records of completed or in process production job orders to evaluate compliance to record integrity per best aersopace industry practices and asess proper production and inspection execution
  • Perform internal audits of processes, procedures, and documentation to assess compliance with AS9100, AS13100 standards, Customer requirements, Nadcap and GE Aerospace policies.
  • Conduct process-based audits to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the QMS.
  • Identify, document, and report non-conformities and areas for improvement.
  • Work with process owners to define corrective and preventive actions.
  • Follow up on corrective actions to ensure effective resolution and prevention of recurrence.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports summarizing findings, recommendations, and follow-up actions.
  • Analyze audit results to identify trends and systemic issues.
  • Present audit results and improvement opportunities to senior management.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on QMS requirements and best practices.
  • Support teams in developing and implementing process improvements.
  • Act as a resource for QMS-related questions and issues.
  • Participate in management reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor regulatory and industry changes that may impact QMS requirements.
  • Recommend updates to QMS procedures and practices to align with best practices and standards.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Technical degree (TSU) or equivalent preferred. Associate degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field is accepted.
  • Technical english skillls
  • Strong understanding of AS9100 requirements and quality management principles.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in quality auditing, preferably in the aerospace industry or any industry with a high regulated environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant Excel / Word packages and familiarity with Electronic Management Systems
  • Strong verbal and written skills
