Job Description Summary
To work within the Quality Department reporting to the Quality Assurance Leader. The role offers the opportunity for personal development and will encompass internal and external quality activities such as, shop & vendor audits, regulatory and customer investigations and the opportunity to continuously improve both procedural compliance and overall shop quality awareness.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities include:
- To measure, analyse and continually improve quality and procedural issues throughout the business.
- Review and update internal quality system documents to reflect those current procedures are in line with GE policies & procedures & Part 145 regulations.
- To maintain all site regulatory body approvals, including continual review and implementation of changes to ensure compliance
- To undertake internal audits and provide an independent view of the management system performance.
- Work with both Regulatory and Customer auditors, leading and managing audit teams as required to ensure compliance to stipulated standards.
- To conduct vendor audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Assist in maintaining Gensuite database, reviewing trends and implementing process improvements.
- To promote quality engagement within the production teams & identify quality concerns and improvement opportunities.
- To raise compliance monitoring awareness throughout the site and drive a pro-active quality culture.
- To work with the quality excellence team assisting them in the preparation and maintenance of quality audits, proactive quality assessments, and other risk identification/abatement processes

Qualities we look for:
- Degree qualified or relevant work experience in quality/manufacturing environment
- Effective communicator with ability to form strong connections at all levels.
- Display highest standards with respect to work output ensuring attention to detail.
- Able to work under their own initiative whilst still supporting the team structure.
- High level of computer literacy (MS Office & Web applications).
- Working knowledge of Part 145 regulations desirable
