Role Overview: This sole contributor role is critical in supporting the safety and security of our senior leaders, employees, and assets. The ideal candidate will understand strategic security principles and adopt a proactive approach to security, focusing on maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and coordinate comprehensive executive protection plans for high-profile individuals within the organization.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats to the business.
  • Provide driving, logistics, and protective services under senior management direction for senior executives, members of the Board of Directors, and select others as directed.
  • Ensure the safety and security of senior leaders and employees during public appearances, meetings, and other engagements.
  • Coordinate security operations for corporate events, including conferences, meetings, and special events.
  • Collaborate with event planners, the security logistics team, and other stakeholders to ensure all security measures are in place and effectively communicated.
  • Manage on-site security teams and coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular security audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Implement and monitor security technologies and systems to enhance overall security posture.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on security best practices and emergency response procedures.
  • Manage elements of a Protective Services program as designated by leadership.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Site Security Leaders, HR, Legal, and Facilities, to assist with security-related issues and initiatives.
  • Administer After-Action Reports for special events, executive protection, and security logistics teams.
  • Undertake and manage special projects as assigned, ensuring timely completion.

The Ideal Candidate will have the following:
Risk Assessment and Business Acumen
: The ability to identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential threats and vulnerabilities, and to develop strategies to mitigate these risks. Understand the internal and external factors that impact the organization including market trends, competitive landscape and regulatory requirements.

Information & Analytical Thinking: the ability to collect, analyze and interpret information from various sources to anticipate and counteract potential security threats, while thinking critically and analytically to solve complex security problems and make informed decisions.

Adaptability and Resilience: The capacity to adapt to changing security landscapes and recover quickly from setbacks or incidents.

Interpersonal Skills & Customer Service: Strong interpersonal abilities, effective networking and collaboration capabilities, and cultural competence. High emotional intelligence and self-awareness are essential for fostering a respectful approach to security operations.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey security policies, procedures, and incident reports to stakeholders at all levels. Active listening & relationship building.

Project Management: The ability to plan, execute, and oversee security projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in security management, Criminal Justice, or a related field, or 4 years of law enforcement or military service in a related field.
  • Must be LEOSA certified or have the ability to possess a concealed carry permit and have experience with firearms.
  • Pass Fitness for Duty Examination.
  • Previous experience in executive protection, preferably with high-profile clients.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally; Estimated travel: 50%-75%.
  • Proven track record of successfully operating in large-scale events.
  • Must be able to rapidly deploy to locations requiring additional security support during crises or incidents.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in all aspects of the job.
  • Proficiency in security technology and surveillance systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in security management (e.g., CPP, PSP).
  • Certification in first aid, CPR, and trauma care or ability to become certified.
  • Candidates will be required to carry a firearm.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who are eligible under the Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA).

Additional Information:

  • Full-time position with flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Background and drug screening required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. The base pay range for this position is $91,900.00-$140,800.00 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on April 14th, 2025.
