Job Description Summary
The Edison Works Program Operations Leader is a key member of the Edison Works team, responsible for the team leadership of Program Operations team in support of development programs within the Edison Works Program Management Office (PMO). The PMO supports a wide range of program and project management functions. This role is in charge of program operations and forecasting for all of Edison Works development programs and serve a liaison to Edison Works senior leadership, program managers, and partner functions (including finance and engineering). The leader will need to guide program managers and other program operations specialists to best support their respective programs and will coordinate communications and engagement processes that program stakeholders are informed and action items are statused and actioned.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- People Leader for a small team of experts in their core competencies.
- Strategic workforce planning
- Customer interface with USG customers, specifically coordination with internal and external Contracts teams to execute funding modifications and obligate funds.
- Strategize with business leadership and program managers to create and communicate Operating Plan, CMR and Growth Playbook forecasts.
- Define Standard Work for program financials at the Monthly Program Reviews (MPRs) and associated customer briefings.
- Own and report on key performance indices specifically related to Termination Liability and the Big Rocks financial obligations.
- Support financial risk exposure to the business through termination liability analysis across multiple programs. Work with P&L leaders to understand those risks and make business/programmatic decisions.
- Help support Program and Product managers with forecasting. tracking of critical risks, and deadlines.
- Work with finance to gather programmatic and financial risk and opportunities (R&Os) for each program.
- Leverage FLIGHT DECK to help operate key program support functions within Edison Works for new and existing programs.
- Work directly with finance, product operations, scheduling, program management and engineering teams to meet all customer requests, monthly deadlines, and reporting requirements.
- Lead transformation efforts to eliminate waste, improve transparency, establish standard work, and enhance the value the team brings to the business.
- Help develop and implement program operations best practices and processes to improve efficiency to scale across programs.
- Manage a horizontal team to support complex programs in different program lifecycle phases.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Program Management, Financial Management, and/or operations.
- The ability to obtain and maintain an US Government Clearance.
