Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have basic shop math with the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and calculate fractions and decimals.
- Must have basic computer skills and be able to use computers.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively.
- Must be able to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and planning.
- Must be able to move parts of 50-60 lbs with the use of lift fixtures.
Must be able to work one of the following shifts:
- 2nd shift: 3pm -11:30 pm Monday-Friday
- 3rd shift: 11pm - 7:30 am Monday-Friday

Job Description:
- Set-up and operate production machinery including, but not limited to: N/C mill/drill machines, pneumatic presses & injectors, hand grinders, NDT inspection, painting equipment, cranes, forklifts, ovens, blasting machines, ply cutters, layup tables, vacuum lines, CMM inspection machines, grinders, and similar machines.
- May run multiple machines.
- Perform intricate manual operations such as: layup, demold, de flash, kit cutting, and other similar operations.
- Develop and improve basic work instructions such as methods sheets, drawings, sketches, etc., using past job knowledge and skills.
- Work will involve a variety of metals, composite materials, and parts with close tolerances and fine finishes.
- Keep work area and equipment clean.
Desired Qualifications:
- At least 1 year manufacturing or accredited Manufacturing Skills course
- Associate Degree in Machining Technology, Composites Manufacturing or equivalent.
- Prior Aircraft Engines operations experience.
- Prior experience with composite hardware layup and machining.
- Prior Lean Six Sigma Certification/Experience
