Job Description Summary
An exciting opportunity has been created for a Payroll & Data Analyst to join our GE Aerospace team at our Cheltenham site. Initially for a 12 month FTC with a possibility to go permanent, as a Payroll and Data Analyst, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing payroll data using T&A systems to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. You will also support data analysis initiatives to drive business insights and improve operational efficiency.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Maintain and update payroll records and T&A system, including employee information, deductions, and benefits.
- Conduct regular audits of payroll data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Generate and distribute payroll reports to management and other stakeholders.
- Analyze payroll data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.
- Support data analysis projects by extracting, cleaning, and analyzing data from various sources.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights to the business.
- Ensure data integrity and security in all payroll and data analysis activities.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in payroll processing and data analysis.
- Strong proficiency in payroll software and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of relevant payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
- Desirable experience of using Kronos and MyTime T&A systems
- Desirable Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, or a related field.
