Roles and Responsibilities

  • See, surface and help solve material coverage issues impacting Defense & Systems programs.
  • Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs and optimize inventory and process improvements.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
  • Understands manufacturing processes and how to problem solve in those environments.
  • Use judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles
  • Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Will lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements.
  • Explain information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Convey performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of manufacturing and/or material planning experience) + a minimum of 3 years of manufacturing and/or material planning experience
