Within the Military PM&CS (Product Management & Customer Support) Organization, as Customer Support Specialist you will be deployed to a Customer Military Consortium based in Munich, for a period according to contract conditions between Customer Consortium and Avio Aero and you will report to the Consortium Technical and Customer Support Manager. In this role you will provide the support to the Consortium Technical and Customer Support Manager in all aspects of your duties, deputize in your absence, initiate response to all requirements, both with the Customer and with Partner Companies, ensuring that the Customer Support tasks are carried out in accordance with the policy or direction given by the Customer Military Consortium.

Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Act as Focal Point for Customer Military Consortium related issues
- Interface with NETMA (NATO Eurofighter and Tornado Management Agency) and the relevant Customer Military Consortium working groups and Sub Groups on all matters concerning:
- spares progression activities and negotiate improvements in performance with the Partner Companies as required
- procedural aspects of procurement, amendments of existing SSPs (Standard Supply Procedure) or agreement of EPS (Enhanced Procurement System) procedures
- international repair and overhaul and coordinate the preparation of consolidated management statistics to NETMA
- obsolescence and modifications management, ordering of Mod Sets and post-modification activities - Represent Customer Military Consortium at NETMA Meetings (OPM Order Progression Meeting, CIPM Critical Items Progression Meeting, RPC ReProvisioning Conference, IPWG Initial Provisioning Working Group, TOAG Tornado Order Administration Group, TMB Tornado Modification Board) and coordinate all necessary activities and inputs for those
- Coordinate all activities regarding EPS modifications and acting as the representative responsible for interfacing with the system teams in the Partner Companies
- Assist the Consortium Managing Director in preparation for relevant working group meetings, PDM (Programme Directors Meeting) and the Customer Military Consortium Board
Qualifications/Requirements
- Engineering degrees or High school technical diploma with previous experience in a customer support role
- Understanding of cultural issues and of working in a multinational /multicultural environment
- Knowledge of military Service and Customer Support
- Proficiency in using the PC Software MS Windows and MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point)
- Strong, clear, effective and concise communication skills (both written and verbal) in English and Italian language
- Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
- Eligible for NATO Security Clearance
Desired Characteristics
- Knowledge of RB199 or EJ200 products
- Established experience in spares support management and related skills
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex problems
- Ability to document, plan and execute projects
- Finance knowledge and understanding
- German language is a plus
