Job Description Summary

The Marine product line has had several recent wins requiring increased supply to support various domestic and international customers. This role serves as a vital connection and interface between Engineering, Supply Chain, and customer facing organizations focused on product/manufacturing readiness, execution and delivery for the entire Marin product portfolio, the gas turbine, enclosure, and auxiliary systems.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership for delivering the Marine product line portfolio including the gas turbine, package, and auxiliary systems.


  • Support the S&OP process and help align engine build priorities with input from customer facing teams and the AEO team. Support delivery standard work reviews.

  • Work with the AEO fulfillment team to develop action plans to improve hardware delivery dates.


  • Work with the Marine Sourcing company, Corbus, to align auxiliary system deliveries to customer PO dates.


  • Acts as a focal and interface between Project organization/ Program Managers and Supply Chain to execute on production operation plan and new hardware introduction plans.


  • Works with the GE Aerospace sourcing team as the black dot owner for working schedules with the package suppliers.


  • Has strong interpersonal skills and acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements.


  • Explains difficult or sensitive information clearly & concisely, often to senior leadership; works to build consensus and is capable of influencing others on topics within field to drive execution & strategic direction.


  • Has ability to prioritize information for decision making. Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns, or customers.


  • Serves as manufacturing representative for PCB, Tollgate and Technical reviews for assigned hardware.


  • Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns or customers. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders or customers. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.


  • May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.

Required Qualifications

  • For roles outside of the USA- This role requires significant experience in the Product Management & Production Leader. Knowledge level is comparable to a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).


  • For roles in USA - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Established project management skills.
  • Prior experience in Lean, hardware procurement process, and "on-the-shop-floor"
  • Ability to collaborate, lead and influence across the matrix and with suppliers.
  • Master's Degree from an accredited university
