As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will develop and implement manufacturing processes to achieve production of complex aircraft engine components. You will , collaborate with your colleagues to create processes that meet drawing requirements, have high throughput, minimize deviation/scrap risk, and meet target rates of production required.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

• Design and validate the production router and documentation, based on company procedures and customer requirements
• Provide manufacturing method development and improvement for current and new products
• Apply design-for-manufacturing principles, working with a cross-functional team to ensure lean capability and a stable process
• Work with manufacturing engineering colleagues and shop floor personnel to validate processes, tools and equipment
• Design and validate devices, tools and equipment for the manufacturing and development of new products
• Coordinate with outside vendors, who may be contracted to build manufacturing equipment and/or outdoor processing operations
• Pursue continuous improvement for quality and cost reduction in designated areas
• Assist supervisors and production workers in resolving manufacturing process issues through root cause nudge and permanent corrective actions
• Responsible for achieving all aspects of manufacturing operations, including safety, quality, initial yield and productivity

• Master's Degree in Engineering
• Good knowledge in interpreting technical drawings/specifications and manufacturing processes
• Fluent English and Italian
• Work visa in accordance with local regulations is required

• Lean manufacturing training
• Good knowledge of casting technologies
• Good knowledge of the CAD (Computer Aided Design) system.
