Job Description Summary

This role is based in Ipswich, QLD and supports the Total Logistics Support Contract (TLS) that GE has with the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) to maintain the F414 Engines.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • This role is part of the TLS Program and the primary responsibility is to support the Logistics and Finance functions of the Program.
  • The role will involve running and coordinating inventory reports across multiple tools, analyzing inventory levels and supporting the engine production by working with the stakeholders across the enterprise.
  • This role responds to Customer inventory demands and coordinates requests and transportation.
  • Additionally, this role is involved in driving lean processes and implementation to manage and optimise supply chain inventory levels, and ultimately support the execution of the TLS Program.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • This role requires prior experience (3+ years) in Logistics.
  • Knowledge of Defence and aerospace logistics tools and processes (ERP/MILIS/ESCM)
  • Possession of an Australian Defence Security Clearance - Baseline essential, NV1 Preferable or the ability to obtain NV1
  • Must hold Australian Citizenship, at time of application.
  • Attention to detail

Desired Characteristics

  • Advanced Excel- ability to perform queries, create formulas, conditional formatting, work in pivot tables
  • Compliance experience:
  • Defence Governance exposure advantageous
  • Monitoring of multiple systems to align with physical holdings (CAMM2, MILIS/SAP ERP,
  • Subcontractor Inventory System, GE Systems)
  • - Auditing supportDemonstrated ability to analyse and resolve problems
  • Ability and flexibility to work across multiple time zones both locally and the US. (Includes early morning and occasional late evening teleconferences, etc.)
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of internal and external organisations
  • Strong interpersonal, influence, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team
