Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide a strong technical leadership to continue improve LEAP-1A&1B fleet reliability, stability and maintainability.
    • Fleet issues (unscheduled removal, Leading indicators, significant events, usage difficulties etc.) investigation, produce containment plan and final fix solution.
    • Collect fleet maintenance and issue solving best practice and lessons learned to enhance fleet management and troubleshooting efficiency.
  • Lead internal and external customers technical communication
    • Lead regional customer technical communication to ensure customers well understand fleet issue investigation status, containment plan and final resolution and proper manage customer fleet. (Region customer symposium, regular meeting with airlines, airframers, C&PSO team etc.)
    • Work with Cincinnati and Safran fleet model leaders to build fleet management strategy, manage daily global fleet operation PSE support.
    • Collaborate with global LEAP PSE team to solve critical fleet issues, participate and contribute internal technical and project reviews.
    • Communicate with Airworthiness & Certification office and support significant events closure, manage regional agencies' expectation on product continue airworthy
    • Communicate and collaborate with System Engineers, Life Cycle Engineers and Program team for fleet issue solving and fleet program management
  • Identify and develop technical projects to support fleet operation, such as fleet issue monitoring, maintenance burden and cost reduction etc.
  • Coach young talent to ensure team capable for the fleet technical support and issue solving. Support building-up a robust talent structure and pipeline to fulfill business need.

Required Qualifications

  • Significant experience in the Engineering/Technology & Fleet Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree and above from an accredited university or college.
  • The candidate should be fluent in Mandarin and English
  • International candidates must be willing to relocate to China

  • At least 10+ years of experience in an aerospace or mechanical engineering position
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
  • Ability to guide and influence others
  • Demonstrated process orientation in approach to work
