Roles and Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze data for assigned project
  • Use Lean tools to improve assigned project
  • Support the team on the development of Lean tools
  • Work within the guidelines of applicable GE Policies and Procedures, Engineering Standards, Design Customer Operating Procedures, Specifications, Government and Commercial Standards, and special security requirements
  • Document technical data that is generated to substantiate the assigned components, assemblies, systems and/or processes and that is consistent with engineering policies and procedures
  • Provide timely communication on significant issues to key stakeholders
  • Support the solution of problems of limited scope and complexity
  • Self-check of work

Required Qualifications

  • Student of Computer Systems Engineering
  • Effective written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish
  • English skills: must be able to maintain a simple conversation in English.
  • Presentation skills: ability to communicate with Senior Leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability in managing own projects
  • Effective problem identification and solution skills
  • Proven analytical and organizational abilities
  • Proven programming skills
  • Experience with visual management tools is a plus
  • Accountable and strong learning/continuous improvement mindset
  • Open team player and strong interpersonal skills
  • 40hours per week
  • Full time availability, from June 17th to July 31st
  • To have tax iD (RFC) and social security number (IMSS)
  • In-person work is required at GEIQ offices in Queretaro, Mex.

To assure compliance with tax obligations related to electronic receipts, the company will ask for the candidate's tax information, including the candidate's tax ID certificate ("Constancia de Situación Fiscal") issued by tax authority, "SAT" in accordance with tax regulation, due to which it is of great importance that the candidate has the updated information at the moment of applying for the job opening.
