Coach, drive and lead FLIGHT DECK behaviors, principles, and tools across an operational area. Drive cultural transformation resulting in step-change in operational business metrics.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the FLIGHT DECK Transformation on a product line within the shop
- Responsible to help prepare and facilitate Lean events throughout the year
- Responsible to coach and mentor the hourly team and support staff on FLIGHT DECK tools
- Assist with leading/facilitating Daily Management (DM) and follow-up items on the issue tracker and the Lean Transformation plan
- Facilitating and leading Value Stream Analyses (VSA's) and Kaizen Events
- Introduction and enhancing current practices of DM and problem solving
- Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders
- Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations
- Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision
- Lead cross functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity
- Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics
- Guide others to consider a different point of view
- Ability to manage multiple projects/event schedules simultaneously

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree from accredited university
- Minimum 5 years experience Lean Manufacturing or graduated from a leadership program
- Strong experience with MS suite (Excel particularly) need to be able to pull data from databases.
