Role Overview:

The Lead Project Management Specialist will be responsible for supporting process improvements within the Unison business, particularly within the Order to Remittance (OTR) and other Return to Service (RTS) value streams, which includes supporting functional teams with weekly and monthly operating cadences, the implementation of standard work, collecting and analyzing data to identify trends and drive informed decision making, and support the development of digital tools in support of business key performance indicators (KPIs). The Lead Project Management Specialist will be responsible for leading cross-functional projects of moderate complexity and serving as a key contributor to more complex projects.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key contributor in the implementation of standard tools and processes in support of business operating cadences.
  • Support cross-functional teams in preparation for operating reviews and drive operating review rigor.
  • Lead and support KPI improvement activities for functional value streams.
  • Lead and/or support various projects from inception to completion with a focus on action and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Gather, consolidate, and transform business data and make recommendations in support of informed decision-making.
  • Manage assigned action plans to ensure accountability and completion of tasks.
  • Develop digital tools in support of process efficiency, KPI reporting, and the adoption of Standard Work.
  • Support the adoption of the FLIGHT DECK Operating System.
  • Develop and document standard work for key business processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 7 years of experience in Project Management, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, and/or Operations Management)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Project Management, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, and/or Operations Management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Attention to detail
  • Project management experience, including the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently and document, plan, market, and execute projects/programs
  • Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills, including oral and written communication
  • Digital acumen, including familiarity with Access, Power Query, VBA, SQL, and Oracle
  • Experience in TIBCO Spotfire or other business analytics platforms
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Aerospace industry and/or Aviation products
  • Ability to drive improvements in efficiency for multiple concurrent projects
  • Ability to analyze, identify, and develop solutions to problems using a wide range of data
