The Lead Product Engineer supports the F404 Assembly manufacturing processes, ensures product quality, cost and delivery and works with cross-functional teams to ensure engines are assembled to meet customer requirements. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Executes standard operational/ technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines.

Job Responsibilities:

  • The Product Engineer supports the F404 Assembly manufacturing processes, production readiness and ramp preparedness.
  • Ensure expectations on safety, quality, cost, and delivery are met.
  • Broadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy.
  • Address product non-conformances, MRB & PR, repairs, and design change requests.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement manufacturing improvements and resolve technical issues.
  • Collaborate with quality and design resources to support APQP (Advance Product Quality Planning).
  • Present to senior leaders in specific technical space and on cross functional teams on how technologies interconnect and contribute to overall strategy .
  • Explains technical information to others.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of Manufacturing or Manufacturing Engineering experience),
  • Additional 3 years of Manufacturing or Manufacturing Engineering experience or GE Leadership Program Graduate in lieu of experience
