This role supports the Defense Engineering organization in financial management and reporting of Plant & Equipment (P&E), Bullet Train (SG&A) Expense. In addition, this role will support reporting and analysis of total Defense & Systems Engineering costs across multiple colors of money (Company Funded Development, Customer Funded Development, etc). This role will be responsible for providing financial planning, analysis, reporting, and problem solving for the Defense Engineering division.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing the business financial cycles: 10 year plan, budget, forecasts for Plant & Equipment (P&E) and Bullet Train (SG&A) spend. Analyze the performance and propose action plans to improve profitability and cash generation as well as corrective action plans as needed.
- Responsible for Fixed Asset Management System (FAMS) requests and updates.
- Strong partnership with Engineering Operations on working through the systems and data analysis.
- Initiate and implement process improvements to drive standardization, automation, and efficiency.
- Support WORs, MORs, and Quarterly reporting for the Engineering P&L and D&S Engineering.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Finance).
- 2+ years of experience in finance operations.
