Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead/support the hybrid-electric system testing campaigns and tasks
- Lead/support the safety strategy, procedure and checks for hardware testing campaigns
- Analyze system test data and provide analysis and summary reports
- Collaborate with interfacing disciplines as well as partners and subcontractors on hybrid-electric system or component testing
Required Qualifications
- MS in electrical or mechanical engineering or similar field
- Multiple years of experience in testing of electromechanical systems and their components, preferably in the hybrid-electric field.
- Proficient experience in integration, troubleshooting, and debugging mechanical and electrical systems.
- Experience in validating electric propulsion systems through prototyping and laboratory testing
- Proven expertise and leadership skills in safety of electrical/mechanical systems through both certifications and hardware experience
- Experience in Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) of electric propulsion systems
- Proficient experience with electronic test equipment and instrumentation.
- Experience with Hardware in the Loop (HiL) tools
- Experience with serial communication busses
- Proven system thinker with ability to work in multidisciplinary teams

- Fluent in both German and English languages
- Passion for technical excellence and technology advancement
- Ability to self-manage workload across a number of projects, self-directed and motivated
- Aerospace experience
- Familiarity with impact of altitude on electric system components
- Familiarity with classical controls systems
- Familiarity or tuning of basic control loops - current, voltage, speed
