Job Description Summary

All activities relating to enhancing services technology integrating customer data, or capturing engines/products reliability, availability, maintenance, safety and other performance parameters. Includes hourly, nonexempt and exempt employees as well as manager roles responsible solely for these activities. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide program leadership, technical direction, and assistance to the customer in the operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of assigned jet engine product lines

• Interpret OEM & technical manuals where necessary

• Review effectiveness of maintenance actions to identify training need opportunities

• Leverage lean principles to assist the customer in finding proactive reliability enhancements to drive a reduced cost of ownership

• Produce data analytics and timely reporting of production status, events, and trends to key internal stakeholders

• Maintain spare parts inventory and advise the customer on key parts provisioning

• Direct and facilitate rework to assure engine serviceability meets new aircraft requirements for certification

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor's of Engineering or technical degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of related work experience)

• 4 years of full time working experience in airline operations or maintenance planning, engineering, aviation propulsion, or related field

• Self-directed with the ability to problem solve using sound judgement and critical thinking

• Ability to lead and deliver on result orientated priorities using strong project management, analytical, time management and prioritization skills

• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to forge deep relations at all levels

• Passion to gain a deeper understanding of the commercial function and driving success for Aerospace with internal/ external stakeholders, our customers, partners and colleagues

Additional Information

Relocation: This position is eligible for domestic relocation support.

The base pay range for this position is $104,400 - $139,200. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on 2/17/2025.
