Job Description Summary
The Integrated Manufacturing Engineering team is looking for an energetic engineer to partner with suppliers to improve the producibility and throughput of structural components across GE Aerospace's Commercial & Aeroderivative product lines. This role involves partnering with Engineering, Quality and Suppliers to solve manufacturing challenges, implement proactive design and process changes, and drive engineering and manufacturing excellence across the organization. Includes activities linked to technical improvement of existing manufacturing processes and new processes. Support suppliers in implementing Flight Deck tools for operational visual management. Has the ability to work with autonomy guided by established policies or review of end results. Primary objective is to enabling the source for the component or product to meet the agreed upon production rate within the expected quality of a GE Aerospace product. The role is subject to operating policy objectives. High levels of operational judgment are required to achieve outcomes required.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
• Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and requirements
• Collaborate with design engineers, manufacturing engineers, quality and delivery leaders, and product line focals to drive open dialogue, gain consensus, and drive meaningful outcomes
• Travel to supplier sites to gain practical knowledge of hardware manufacture
• Utilize in-depth discipline knowledge, analytical thinking, and technical experience to define and scope efforts within open-ended space and execute moderately complex projects to meet technical requirements and business goals
• Provide support for nonconformance reviews (MRB), process qualification (SPS), producibility improvements, and hardware delivery
• Use engineering judgement and experience to challenge entrenched processes and recommend improvements
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree accredited college or university in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Materials Engineering (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in design engineering experience) + Minimum of 3 years of design engineering experience

- Previous experience in the design and manufacture of variety of structural hardware types
- Fundamental understanding of aerospace component and turbomachinery design

- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
- Certification in ASME Y14.5 or practical experience with GD&T
