The Installation Aero Lead Engineer will be responsible for the design of the aerodynamics of engine components (inlets, outlets, nacelles, etc.) and their testing and validation, as well as the integration of new generation GE Aerospace engines with new aircrafts.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
As the Installation Aerodynamics Lead Engineer, you will:
- Execute aerodynamics design through analyses and integration studies required to meet business standards and product requirements.
- Assist with the preparation and execution of test programs.
- Develop tools/software to improve aerodynamic design and predictive capabilities.
- Develop lean processes to improve job productivity and efficiency.
- Contribute to engineering information and lessons learned.
- Assure proper documentation of technical data for assigned projects.
Required Qualifications
- MSc/BSc in Engineering.
- Solid experience in Aerodynamics.
- Good level of English.
Desired Characteristics
- Understanding of aircraft installation systems aerodynamics.
- Knowledge of aerodynamics design, computational fluid dynamic and CAD software.
- Experience in performing computational analyses on high performance computing (HPC) resources.
- Customer satisfaction mindset, ability to work well in a diverse team with a positive "can do" attitude.
