We have an opportunity for an Inspector based at our Caledonian site at Prestwick. In this role, you would be responsible to for carrying out checks of aircraft components, the OASIS SAP system, and any other associated documentation to establish components serviceability.
Job Description
Essential Functions:
- Carry out checks of aircraft components, the OASIS SAP system, and any other associated documentation to establish components serviceability.
- Update all applicable systems to demonstrate and provide evidence of components' serviceability.
- PC work including ESM, SAP and all other relevant references and instructions.
- Use of magnifying and measuring equipment as required.
- Manual handling of components.
- Requirement to lift and lay engine components using approved fixturing and tooling.

Qualifications / Requirements:
- Must have served a recognised engineering apprenticeship or Mechanical apprenticeship with relevant industry experience.
- .Detailed Parts Inspection approval would be beneficial but not essential.
- Precise attention to detail.
- High level of concentration.
- Detailed understanding of components.
- Good manual dexterity.
- PC literate.
- Ability to work on your own and with limited supervision.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
