Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- A vital member of the Aerospace Response Center (ARC) and the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), leads digital transformation initiatives within the organization. Focused on enhancing and optimizing our critical event management and travel risk management platforms, ensuring they are fit for purpose and meet the evolving needs of global operations.
- Responsible for end-to-end design, integration, and deployment of solutions that support our crisis management objectives, with a strong emphasis on digital technology and innovation.
- Works closely with internal stakeholders, including crisis managers, security teams, and DT to understand requirements and deliver solutions that align with organizational goals and requirements.
- Develops and maintains a technology roadmap for the ARC and GSOC, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
- Oversees project timelines, deliverables, and budgets, ensuring that all solutions are delivered on time and within scope.
- Identifies and implements process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of ARC digital platforms.
- Collaborates with external vendors and partners to ensure the successful delivery and support of digital solutions.
- Ensures that all solutions adhere to security and compliance standards, mitigating risks and safeguarding sensitive information.
- Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products as well as a demonstrated ability to perform multiple tasks in a challenging, high-stress environment.
- Assists in developing and implementing workflows to support the efficient and effective communication and management of critical events, incidents, and crises that could affect the safety of GE Aerospace employees and assets.
- Provides direct assistance in documentation, coordination, management, and training related to the ARC and Crisis Management as directed by the Global Security Team
- Impacts approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working. Impacts quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of own team. These jobs have significant input into their priorities. Jobs at this level tend to be covered by professional practices and policies but these are shaped by the role. Working within broad guidelines and policies, roles at this level have moderate autonomy, requiring high levels of evaluative judgment.
- Uses judgment to make decisions or solve complex tasks or problems that impact the function. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Leverages technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside Global Security to inform decisions.
- As necessary, participate in and manage ARC operations to ensure connectivity to the daily challenges faced by the team, better understand system requirements, improve workflows, and implement effect solutions. The ideal candidate is adaptable, tech-savvy, and ready to contribute both strategically and operationally in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information, or related field from an accredited college or university. Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a solutions architect role, preferably within the aerospace, defense, or high-tech industries.
- Strong understanding of digital technologies, including cloud computing, data analytics, and cybersecurity.
- Presents a professional demeanor and demonstrates excellent speaking, writing, and organizational skills.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required
- Must be willing and able to obtain and/or maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance

- Prior work in the field of intelligence or global security operations, crisis management experience, and familiarity with internal GE Aerospace digital platforms and internal cybersecurity processes and controls
