The Global Compliance Learning & Communications Leader is responsible for developing & executing the overall strategy for the GE Aerospace Compliance Learning & Communications Program. This position will report to the Executive Horizontal Risk Leader. This can be a hybrid role but NOT remote

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Proactively and collaboratively understanding the compliance learning needs of the workforce, leveraging qualitative and quantitative data as appropriate.
  • Partner with the Chief Compliance Officer and the Compliance Team - including Ombuds, Investigations, and Risk Risk Focals - to develop and execute annual strategic & innovative learning plans designed to drive increasingly better enterprise-wide compliance.
  • Work in collaboration with the internal GE Aerospace Learning & Communications Teams to align (as appropriate) on strategy, tactics, standard work, and company best practices.
  • Ensuring that GE Aerospace's Compliance learning practices - including content and delivery mechanisms - are consistent with the most current adult learning science.
  • Regularly evaluating learning practices - including content and delivery mechanisms - for effectiveness and making adjustments as appropriate.
  • Building learning capability within the GE Aerospace compliance network with the goal of enabling others to contribute to the development and execution of effective functional, regional, and local compliance learning plans.
  • Draft executive communications and materials for Chief Compliance Officer to be shared across GE Aerospace and with sub-groups including the Compliance Review Board and Board of Directors.
  • Oversee contractor training team in the creation and launch of trainings and collaborate with businesses & subject matter experts to create online/live training content & coordinate assignments.
  • Actively embraces LEAN, Continuous Improvement and new ways of thinking and practices that increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Act with humility, lead with transparency, and deliver with focus.
  • The base pay range for this position is $127,500 to 212, 400. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. ] This posting is expected to close on DATE

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
  • At least 8 years of experience applying adult learning principles in a corporate setting.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles/techniques and the instructional design process.
  • Proven success with creating effective learning tools, resources, activities and programs to develop learning programs within a large, global corporate environment.


  • Any offer of employment requires a successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience managing a global compliance communication and learning program for a publicly-traded company in a self-directed manner with minimal oversight.
  • Experience working in or closely with a compliance organization.
  • Thoughtful and collaborative in approach, strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across the organization, and experience in stakeholder management
  • Superior writing and excellent oral/speaking communication skills with experience communicating in multiple media (e.g., print, email, web, video/audio) and can communicate well with images/infographics as well as words.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Established project management, problem solving and prioritization skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and a willingness to constructively debate issues, strategies, and tactics with all levels of leadership.
  • Innovative, forward-thinking, and results-oriented with a passion to solve complex problems in a creative and pragmatic way.
