component parts in addition to having a Repair & Overhaul shop for GE Engines. Our

Role Overview

The Front-Line Manufacturing Supervisor will oversee and manage front-line manufacturing employees, typically managing hourly employee populations. This on-site role is crucial in ensuring efficient operations and contributing to the overall success of the manufacturing area.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage front-line manufacturing employees, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Develop conceptual knowledge of professional discipline, potentially including support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in a broad area.
  • Apply general business knowledge developed through education or past experience to understand how the team's work contributes to the area.
  • Resolve issues using established procedures, consulting supervisors or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
  • Collaborate with others to solve issues and develop strong customer relationships for customer-facing roles, serving as the interface between customers and GE.
  • Exchange technical information, ask questions, and check for understanding to ensure effective communication and problem-solving.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college OR a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in manufacturing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

  • Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
