About the Role: At Services Performance & Analytics (SP&A), we are looking for an experienced Sub-Section Manager to lead our Fleet Modeling team, responsible for GEnx, CF6, GE9X, P20, HF120, and Catalyst Fleet Models. This role is pivotal in driving functional, business, and company-wide objectives. You will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within your area of expertise, engage in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy. You will collaborate closely with CTP, Systems and LCE teams.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and provide technical direction for assigned program tasks and personnel.
- Provide support council and recommendations to section management.
- Establish work group goals within the framework of section technical and financial objectives.
- Maintain broad awareness of group efforts to ensure technical quality, timely completion of work, appropriate resource use, and responsiveness to customer/program needs.
- Facilitate communication of technical and business information between organizations and within the work group.
- Coordinate and address technical, organizational, resource, and personnel issues.
- Actively drive GE Culture, People Development, and DEI initiatives.
- Identify, drive, and execute process improvements and innovation opportunities.
- Define roles and responsibilities for assigned personnel.
- Conduct performance appraisals and participate in salary planning.
- Promote professional growth through timely performance feedback, coaching, and counseling.
- Ensure compliance initiatives and training requirements are implemented within the work group.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in Engineering/Technology & Life Cycle Productivity, with knowledge comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college.
- Proven experience in an engineering environment, leading teams directly or indirectly.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to organize, motivate, and manage people.
- Effective team-building and project management abilities.
- Demonstrated humility and openness to multiple perspectives in leading project decision-making.

- Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in change management.
- Proven ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects.
- Knowledge of engineering budgeting processes and practices.
