Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- General accounting and policy application including supporting the wider team through the finance period close cycles adhering to the agreed deadlines.
- Preparing & posting journal entries, account balance reconciliations, preparing reports & analysis, balance sheet commentary and assisting the team manager on any other ad-hoc requirements.
- Develop understanding of the processes assigned which could include payroll, cash & bank , revenue recognition, receivables/payables, intercompany, etc.. Understand and interpret applicable Enterprise Standards, SOP and Process Maps to deliver globally competitive financial process/accounting services.
- This role would provide opportunity to develop in-depth knowledge of the ERP systems and other various IT applications used internally by the accounting function.
- Communication with direct colleagues and business stakeholders to effectively meet the goals and objectives set for the role..
- Impacts projects, processes and procedures in own field. The role operates with some autonomy, but is focused on execution of activities/provision of advice within an enabling discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures.
- Utilizes technical expertise and judgement to solve problems. Leverages technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems.
Required Qualifications
- This role requires basic experience in the Finance & Accounting Operations such as reconciliations, project accounting and balance sheets.
- A Bachelor's degree is desirable but relevant experience will also be considered.
Desired Characteristics
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
Note: This role offers hybrid working , meaning minimum of 1-2 days in the office is required.
