GE Aerospace is a major manufacturer of aircraft engines and components partnering with the world's major aerospace companies covering commercial, business jet and military applications.
We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Project Coordinator to work at our Cheltenham facility, a 55 acre site with approx 1600 employees.
In this role you would coordinate technical aspects of refurbishment and construction projects across thirteen buildings on site, to deliver tactical project elements. The Project Coordinator will assist the Program Leader with the coordination of resources, equipment, meetings, and information. In this role you will be coordinating day to day operations and resources, acting as a key link between the Program Leader and contractors on site, to deliver infrastructure projects safely, to a high standard of quality, delivered on time and within budget assigned.

Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Coordination of day-to-day project activities and technical deliverables
- Develop project scoping document through technical assessment with stakeholders
- Provide input to project budget, escalating any variations to project scope
- Ensure the accuracy of data input and general project administration, O&M documentation and paperwork are delivered at the end of each project
- Coordinate site operations and resources to meet project demands
- Adhere to GE Aerospace EHS guidelines on compliance and safety on all projects ensuring all stakeholders are aware of expectations
- Understand and interpret RAMS
Requirements
- Previous experience in a strategic facilities environment or related role
- Effective decision making and problem solving skills
- Understanding and application of CDM regulations 2015
- Understanding of UK building regulations
- Technical site expertise or similar experience within an engineering, manufacturing or construction environment
- Understanding of building services, infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structured cabling, fire safety and security systems
- A good communicator who can work with stakeholders to develop project brief documents that will support the overall project document pack throughout
- Ability to read, interpret and develop technical information and drawings
- Ability to co-ordinate several projects simultaneously
- Effective written and verbal communication and relationship building skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Project, and AutoCAD

- Understanding of sprinkler systems and BMS
- SMSTS Qualification
- IOSH/NEBOSH Qualification
- Project Management Qualification
