The Executive HR Business Partner - Engine Overhaul is responsible for leading the full scope of human resources services for the Engine Overhaul Value Stream. This role will develop & execute organization-level HR strategies to align structure, culture & talent with business goals and provides comprehensive HR leadership and support to all clients groups including but not limited to organization planning and development, staffing, compensation and benefits, policy development and governance, employee relations and engagement and training. GE Aerospace's Engine Overhaul Value Stream encompasses an org of ~7,200 across 14 sites in 10 countries. This person has 8 direct reports and lead an HR org of 32. The Engine Overhaul Value Stream will grow 40% over the next 4 years tied to engine services shop visit growth. The Engine Overhaul HRBP will be responsible for driving HR strategies and processes that enable this growth globally. The Engine Overh HRBP will partner with critical stakeholders to drive a global talent strategy, create efficient organizational designs, develop next generation of operational leaders and coach ops / HR leaders to enable cultural transformation.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop & execute organization-level HR strategies, initiatives and processes to align regulations, organization structure, culture & talent with business goals and provides comprehensive HR leadership to HR team and global client
  • Act as trusted advisor and strategic partner to the team, consulting with leadership team and employees within a complex business environment, with specific focus on employee advocacy/engagement, HR fundamentals and process training, employee relations management, performance management, career development, talent assessment, acquisition and retention and workplace investigations as appropriate
  • Facilitate organizational diagnosis and metrics to drive organizational efficiency through talent and organizational capabilities and culture across the overhaul value stream.
  • Act as a change agent; guides and advises organizational design, development, and organizational change solutions.
  • Stay ahead of industry, market and functional trends, and demonstrates these insights to develop appropriate business unit HR strategies and solutions.
  • Develop and grow HR team's expertise, competency and excellence and grow reputation within the organization.
  • Consistently drive improvement in approaches, methods, procedures and processes for HR across the organization and ensure HR excellence of all delivery.
  • Coach and guide HR team to ensure that routine and complex employee relations issues are properly identified, reported, investigated and resolved to drive and promote a work environment that is in compliance with the Integrity policy
  • Drive structured problem solving approach to aligns actions to deliver impact against critical organizational KPIs.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 14 years of relevant experience)
  • Minimum of 10 years of HR experience as a HRBP or plant based HRM. Demonstrated success & expertise in full range of HR scope in development and application of up-to-date practice in employee relations, HR policies & formulation, recruitment & staffing, organization planning and talent development.
  • Experience in a matrix or multinational environment; experiences in manufacturing will be is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence all levels of the organization and multicultural / international environment
