Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage the RCRA 90 day storage activities in all aspects from waste collection, storage, labeling, packaging, shipping, vendor approval, etc. Including tax submittals, annual reports, etc.
• Complete the monthly Wastewater Discharge Monitoring Reports and interfacing w/ Adirondack Environmental Labs and Wastewater Operations team on regular basis.
• Assisting in Title V compliance support e.g. Emergency Generator monthly hours/fuel tracking, semi-annual certification preparation, ODS oversight w/ Facilities, etc.
• Ensure customer service to research community is maintained at high satisfaction level.
• Manage the Petroleum Bulk Storage Programs including inspections, tank registrations, audits, etc
• Ensure current permits and regulations complied with and communicate obligations clearly to leadership and GRC personnel.
• Assist w/ agency inspections and interface
• Ensure funding requests and invoices approved as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor degree from accredited college/university in Engineering/Science/ or Technical field w/ requisite Environmental compliance experience (2-5 yrs.)
• Experience regulatory agencies (NY DEC/EPA, etc.)
• Knowledge of NY DEC Haz.Waste, Air, Water regulations.
• Must be willing to work out of an office located in Niskayuna, NY

The base pay range for this position is $80,600 - $134,300 USD Annually. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on November 13th, 2024.
