Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations.
- Execute thorough post-processing and data analysis.
- Define and evaluate CAD models and engineering drawings of rig hardware.
- Compile documentation on test instrumentation and hardware inspection reports.
- Prepare and present detailed reports summarizing findings and progress to team members and supervisors.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Students in disciplines such as Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor 3rd year or Master preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis and engineering tools such as CAD (e.g. Siemens NX, Solid Works), Matlab, and/or Python.
- Ability to summarize complex technical information clearly and concisely.
- Capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive mindset with a drive to tackle challenges and achieve results.
- Passionate about aerospace engineering with a strong understanding of turbine aerodynamics.
