Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- EHS lead owns the system of Occupational health and safety and environmental safety (hereinafter referred to as "EHS").
- Ensures training of EHS workers, keeps records of EHS training and creates an effective EHS training program
- Is responsible for communication in the EHS field with third parties (local authorities, cooperating companies, land and property owners affected by the company's activities, regulatory authorities, etc.).
- Proposes investments to improve workplace safety, fire protection, and environmental protection.
- Collaborates and coordinates activities with the contractual partner in the field of waste management.
- Manages the process of changes that may impact EHS.
- In collaboration with the heads of relevant workplaces, develops and proposes corrective measures in the EHS field.
- Investigates all work injuries, near misses, reported concerns, chemical spills, fires, and other extraordinary events, and in collaboration with affected departments, proposes corrective measures and oversees their implementation.
- Manages the industrial hygiene and ergonomics programmes.
Required Qualifications
- Secondary school/university (preferably chemical, mechanical or electrical engineering major)
- Certificate of professional competence in the assessment of OSH risk prevention or Occupational Safety Specialist certificate
- At least 5 years of experience in the EHS field in a supervisory role
- At least 3 years of experience in the EHS field in a manufacturing company.
- Knowledge of applicable EHS legislation.
- Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of and experience with audit methods.
- Very good PC skills (MS Office).
- Experience with LEAN principles and continuous improvement is an advantage.
- Fluent communication and English - both spoken and written.
- Fluent Czech
