Job Description Summary

The Director - Head of Treasury is a key role within ERAC Investments organization, reporting to the Head of Investment Operations & Treasury. This role will lead the treasury function for GE Aerospace's $45B insurance balance sheet, overseeing all aspects of Treasury; including capital markets, cash management, liquidity management, portfolio structuring and custody/banking operations. They will engage with key external and internal stakeholders to optimize the company's financial resources, developing/executing operational strategy, and managing financial risks.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of treasury professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Understand ERAC's business environment, including core drivers and cash needs, and develop treasury roadmap/strategies aligned to support business growth while minimizing risk.
  • Manage and oversee daily cash and liquidity management activities, including but not limited to cash positioning, forecasting, funding, ST investments, transaction review/support etc.
  • Manage and oversee custody account landscape and activity including but not limited to onboarding new investment mandates, setting up appropriate custody accounts, optimizing portfolio structure and asset movements/transitions across portfolio and trust structures.
  • Strengthen banking/custody relationships and manage relationships with other Financial Institutions, business partners and others within the industry, collaborating to achieve business goals.
  • Demonstrate leadership in strategic initiatives and streamlining treasury processes across the organization, while actively seeking continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Enhance policies and procedures to ensure proper controls are in place for cash receipts, disbursements, asset movements and other activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a quantitative discipline
  • 7+ years of experience in the financial services industry; 3+ years of experience in treasury and/or investment operations focused roles
  • Familiarity with treasury & investment management systems such as FIS Quantum, Blackrock Aladdin, Clearwater Analytics etc.

Desired Characteristics

  • Advanced degree (MBA, CFA) preferred
  • Experience in capital markets a plus
  • Ability to lead large scale initiatives and projects with multiple executive stakeholders
  • Highly collaborative person, comfortable with conflict and debate normally associated with change
  • The base pay range for this position is $152,000 to 202,900. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on March 15, 2025.
