Job Description Summary
The Connected Aircraft Civil Programs Director will lead a team of Program Managers in the execution of New Product Introduction programs within the Connected Aircraft business.
The role will involve overseeing various program updates and refreshes across multiple civil aircraft models and systems within our Connected Aircraft portfolio. Additionally, the position will provide strategic input and leadership for major pursuit activities in collaboration with business product leadership for future platforms

- Utilizes understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process.
- Leads others to find creative solutions to address complex projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers.
- Has the ability to evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis. Uses multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
- May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
- Communicates complex messages and negotiates mainly internally with others to adopt a different point of view.
- Influences peers to take action and may negotiate with external partners, vendors, or customers.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science.
- A minimum 10 years combined experience in Engineering or Business leadership roles.
Desired characteristics
- Master's degree in Business Administration strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated strong performance in core Program Management skills (business case development, technical project management & Earned Value, contract management, financial planning and accounting).
- Demonstrated strong performance in customer relationship management, preferably in a Civil Aerospace context.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and develop Senior PM talent.
- Established relationships with Boeing Commercial, COMAC, Gulfstream and/or Bombardier teams.
