Job Description

  • Shall have hands on experience in Manufacturing Engineering, preferably from power Cabinet Manufacturing.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of control system configurations, drawings, and manuals, ensuring accuracy and availability for reference and future modifications.
  • Familiar with Indian and International codes & standards IS, IEC, CE, Ghost certification Knowledge of Industry Norms and Standards, field instrumentation and devices, standard control strategies.
  • Provide support to quality & Site team for factory acceptance test.
  • Hands on experience on standard tools like MS Visio, MS Access & MS Excel.
  • Ensures that processes are designed to ensure that products meet quality standards.
  • Reduces waste and addresses production issues.
  • Evaluates data to implement technological improvements in production processes.
  • Experience of Handling a team of Engineers & Junior Engineers.
  • Hires, trains, and overseas production personnel.
  • Generates process documentation and reports.
  • Knowledge of production machinery, processes, and standards.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing and supply-chain management
  • Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Just In Time (JIT) strategizing
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in various stages simultaneously.
  • Design and develop robust manufacturing concepts to simplify and improve processes and ensure best practices.
  • Perform structural and thermal analyses of components and assemblies, build prototypes, evaluate performance, identify issues, and make improvements.
  • Create and maintain required documentation for manufacturing processes, including flow charts, capacity and utilization studies, time and motion studies, standard work, cycle time analysis, and line balancing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gain insights and direction.
  • Hands on experience with PTC Creo, AutoCAD, PLM & Oracle.
  • Knowledge of advanced product quality planning (APQP) and production part approval process (PPAP)
  • Organize and manage manufacturing workflows and resources. Shall have hands on experience of Oracle ERP
  • Ensure that manufacturing procedures follow safety and environmental regulations.
  • Must be familiar with EHS practices inside shop floor as well as on site.
  • Shall have experience in drawing evaluation, manufacturing process feasibility study, calculate should manufacturing hours and ensure parts are manufactured within should hours.
  • Shall have experience in tool costing and budget approval for new projects, Tool manufacturing and prove out.
  • Work very closely with Shop Operations team & provide technical support Shift Wise/daily production output & enable business outcome.
  • Work with Shop High Performance Team (HPT) to identify process variations & apply fixes, work to improve process & productivity.
  • Ensure manufacturing capability and capacity exists to meet customer requirements.
  • Use and implementation of lean and digital tools to drive predictable outcomes with analytics.
  • Prepare project timelines and identify all resources requirement and work with planning and operations team to align and execute new assembly.
  • Should be able to define assembly routing.
  • Must have good knowledge of MS Excel.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Should have bachelor's degree in electrical / mechanical engineering or equivalent from a reputed college /university.
  • Should Have Minimum of 5-7 years' hands on experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in power Cabinet Manufacturing.
  • Should have good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skill.
